Use clear elastic to stabilize knits
It’s known to all that knit wears are easy to get out of shape after washing and pulling again and again. It refers to the woven way of knit wears. So apparel designers and manufacturers has found many solutions to solve the problem. And one of popular ways is using clear elastic TPU tape. TPU tape, also named mobilon tape or framilon tape, is made from TPU raw material. Because of the feature of TPU raw material, TPU tape is elastic and clear transparent. Therefore, TPU tape can be invisible when sewed in knits. When it comes to the way of using clear elastic to stabilize knits, different type of TPU tape should be used at different parts. For example, the most regular usage is sewing TPU tape on shoulder part of T-shirt. We recommend HD5012B, HD5012D and HD5012S. Tape in 6 mm width is also worked.
