The composition of mobilon tape
Mobilon tape is not a kind of new accessory though many people have never noticed it. Mobilon tape also called TPU tape or framilon tape, which is well known to those who work for apparel industry. Mobilon tape composition is not complicated. On contrast, it has only one element: TPU.
TPU is the abbreviation of Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer, which is a kind of recyclable and eco-friendly plastic material. TPU has different hardness such as 70A, 80A and 90A. with different hardness of TPU raw material, the final product will have different softness. For example, when used 70A TPU, mobilon tape will have better elasticity and resilience than that made from 80A.
Of course, besides hardness, the quality and performance of TPU material will influence whether good or bad mobilon tape you get. For instance, Yunze has three types of TPU material to produce mobilon elastic. We call them Taiwan material, Germany material and Japan material. They are from different countries or districts. And have different performance and price absolutely. Relatively speaking, Taiwan material has the worst performance while Japan material has the best performance. Japan TPU material will have better anti-ageing performance, better elasticity and resilience, good anti-yellowing performance.
However, the three types of material mentioned above are all new and unused. Besides, there are another material. It is reclaimed material, which is reprocessed by different types of TPU recyclables.
Although the composition of mobilon tape is onefold, different selection of TPU raw material will leads to TPU tape in different performance.
